Since when do women care about owing men favors? It's not like they ever pay a guy back for anything. I've met all sorts of women over the years that are all too eager to accept help when they need it, but afterwards, it's like "yeah, but what have you done for me lately." It's not like, I'm expecting sex or anything for helping a woman out. Consequently, I don't help women at all if I can help it. It's wasted energy that I could be using for myself and people that are capable of caring about me. On a side note, women of class do not accept favors from single men. Or at very least, give the guy a break and at least find out if he's looking for somebody. It's lacking in class to waste a guys energy when you know you're not interested in him.

LOL, I've received the "I'm not like other women and how dare you suggest that I am" speech several times and every time it's basically word for word the same.

You do realize that humans were falling in love for millenia before we were forced to put up with this girly bullshit, right? Love is a byproduct of investing yourself in somebody else's well being. It's more or less inevitable and that's a large part of why women seem to have so little of it. Most of them can't be bothered to invest in any of the men they date because that would get in the way of them getting the things they want.
