And it doesn't just apply to women, doing that with children also rarely works out. Express an interest yes, but if you're having to fake it, they'll know and then you'd be that adult that's more or less the equivalent of pretty fly for a white guy. The coolest teachers I had in school were ones that weren't trying to be cool, they'd find a way of bringing us along for the ride.

TBH, you'll likely do fine if you're quality in other areas. Contrary to impressions that women have, a given man is likely to look the other way over a lot of other stuff for a quality woman. Sure gorgeous women turn heads, but we have no more idea what we're getting ourselves in for before we go out with somebody than women do. It may be that you have to keep your weight in a certain range and make an effort to ensure that you're quality in every other area, but it grows old dating women that only offer looks. Plus, guys don't all evaluate looks the same way. I'd much rather have a girl that's got back than one of those skinny girls.

Because if you want kids, those kinds of women are a no go. They're great if you specifically don't want children as there's less likelihood for pregnancy. But, there's also the issue that a lot of women just won't date younger. It screwed me over pretty good because I went to a community college where the average age was 27 and I was in my late teens, so for the first bit it would have been illegal and then after I turned 18, none of the women would date anybody younger than them.
