I think the big question here, is that most women won't date good guys unless they're loaded. So, how on earth would they know that they've got a good guy when most of the good guys are completely invisible to them in the first place? In my experience, even the hurt women that ought to know better than to date jerks seem to not care about anything other than money. It makes it extremely hard to care about their well-being when they are so purposefully obtuse about the fact that maybe money doesn't make good men.
