There needs to be more enforcement, there needs to be severe penalties and when these jackwagons kill somebody, they need a stiff prison term as well as to have to go around and explain to people why this is a problem. Around here, we're having a lot of problems due to the lack of policing. The city council is more concerned with appeasing the BLM people that are never going to approve of policing than public safety. I see so many people jaywalking and texting while driving because there's no enforcement. I see people jaywalking in the dark wearing dark clothing. I've almost hit people like that. My mother had a guy walk out in front of her car just as the light changed. Thankfully, she saw him in time, but he could have been run over. And this was less than 50 feet from an intersection with a cross walk.
