@TheFanatic340 You don't really know what he was thinking or doing. I'm not sure what the speed limit was there, but a typical freeway speed is something like 60-70mph, if the wrong way driver was doing 100mph, that means that the rate they were closing was likely in excess of 160mph. He would have had mere seconds to determine which lane she was in and recognize that she was likely to collide with him. So yes, looking as far forward as possible may have helped, but probably not in this case. Headlights are aimed in such a way that even that wouldn't have helped much.

It often times is, we just don't pay as much attention to that. Often times drunk drivers wind up in single vehicle accidents where the only people hurt are hurt psychologically by it.
