  1.  @tondaty  CD-TEXT was supposed to address that, but I don't know that it ever actually caught on. Or at least, I never had any equipment that could make use of it, if it was even on any of my discs.

  2. Yes, I had a portable CD/MP3 player and it was great. It had enough buffer space for an entire minute of skipping and I could burn CDs with whatever MP3s I wanted.

  3. LOL, I think I had that same one. I don't know that there were many choices for those players.
