  2. The ultimate solution is to close down all soft drink manufacturers. We don't need that stuff to live, even though I buy it in cans. What irritates me more than the disappearance of glass bottles for soft drinks is glass bottles for tomatoes and its many derivatives. I used to be able to buy tomato juice in bottles, then one day they disappeared without so much as an explanation. Plastic for carbonated drinks and acidic juices is the wrong thing to use. Which is likely why they are using it, if you get my meaning.
