  1. I tried Proton. Its app looks like it was designed to impress the uninitiated rather than to make it straightforward to use. I tried the free version, so I could only connect to Swissland, Japan and the former USA. Completely useless. Personal computing is becoming a joke. Probably because people seem to be naive about it today than 40 years ago. That would make sense, of course since 40 years it was mostly geeks who indulged in it. But when you can sell $2500 video cards you know there's a problem.
