Interesting man. However, he makes the same mistake all international affairs experts make and that is he ignores that wars are intentional. When he says WWI could have been avoided through proper diplomacy, he's wrong. No, it could not because it was planned for very specific reasons, like ALL wars from the beginning of time. I'm not sure why they say that. Is it self-serving?
