  7. The computer industry has been reaming us from the very beginning. It was easy because most users had no idea how their machine should and did work. I worked in IT for 25 years and ... oh boy! The tech industry is the world's largest make-work project. :)

  8. You can still send stuff back without issue. I'm returning an increasing number of products lately. :-) I think that this is its remaining advantage. Because pricing is not always the best. Unfortunately, when Amazon overprices a popular product, retailers that also sell that product will overprice it too.
