  1. I can't believe someone is finally going to answer this question. I've been wondering about this for a long time. :) I once had a fan that got so old it stopped working on the low setting. And then on the medium setting. And finally on the high.

  3. My first cameras: Minolta SRT-101. Cameras back they were more fiddly but better. Best camera I ever owned: Canon T-90. Still have all my old cameras except the Minolta which I sold to a needy student. My oldest camera: a Voigtländer. :-)

  4. I remember. It would stay out all night, blinding drivers for fun. It would attend parties uninvited and make people walk into walls and doors. Those were the days.

  6. What if the second hose were hung at ceiling level? It would then pull out the warmest air in the room. Not elegant. But a portable unit is not elegant to begin with.
