  1. Ooh! This is very interesting because it seems "Ohrwurm" has actually made it into English while you were away! Let me guess, it literally translates to "ear worm?" Because the word earworm in English is something I only started hearing recently and it has that exact same meaning!

  3. A very interesting thought came to mind while watching this. There are many variable names in the past for the same places, which mutate through seemingly mundane things like mispronunciations, laziness, and mistranslations. Then I thought, well that happens much less now, given how interconnected everyone is, everyone has pretty much agreed on what places are called. And it occurred to me that the place names suddenly snapped into clarity as soon as the majority of people started to notice them, which is just like how quantum mechanics works; place names were in superposition in the past, warping and shifting between similar-sounding but slightly different names until we "observed" them, at which point one name was frozen as the correct one.
