  2. No! Sundays give a much needed break. And Not every month has 4-5 holidays. For example Durga Puja has great significance in Bengal and hence Bengalis get a week long holiday/half day whereas people from other parts don't. Also the festive season of India begins from Janmashtami (August) to Diwali (November) rest of the year there are only a few holidays.
