  1. The Aviation Minister doesn't know that this is Mamata Banerjee who had initiated a violent agitation against the then WB government which was giving land to TATA plant of Nano. Now as a CM she is doing the same.

  2. That's quite a narrow strip of land (Siliguri corridor) Maybe Central government is seeing it strategically and hence not planning any airport over there
