  1. OP... You are correct and incorrect at the same time. A pit rescue will require experience to assess and train the dog. Any reasonable person can raise a Pit from puppy to socialized normal doggo.

  2. I leave my Pit unsupervised with my 8 year old son and 10 y/o daughter regularly. Pit Bulls are highly social and gentle breeds I'd socialized as such and not treated as a weapon or guard dog. It's natural protective instinct is strong enough. When I hear such rubbish by a dog owner who projects his own hierarchical inadequacies on his pet for dominance diplalays and self-esteem.

  3. ​​ @boomerix  your argument falls flat that no government or society can and should regulate if I have a pet, and certainty not which breed. The same goes for firreams in general but depending on your country this can be more contentious. Where I'm from, the government is granted the most basic of regulatory rights against its armed sovereign.

Anyone who has ever owned a 'pItBuLl' knows the Terrier beedvb is the most social and good-natured breed, especially towards babies toddlers and young children. Although these 2 mods try to be somewhat even handed they still fall into these try hard wannabe European elites frames of reference which don't relate to actual reality. What do I mean? It's all based on statistics and not upon reality. It's like 2 colorblind dudes discussing 'Starry Night' but one being unable to see yellow and the other blue hues. Alp dogs are products of their owners. Yes, individual character are relevant but far less than what the owner does... Or. More importantly... Doesn't. If I took a. 45ACP (God's caliber)... Then I still did the deed but you'd be quite injured. A pit can be as gentle and relaxed as a yellow.lab.. However., when it does bite.. Well, it'll hurt more statistically. Again, it's the upbringing, not the mental genetics.

  18. The backs and the browns aren't known for their love of animals. The browns train chickens to kill each other. The blacks train their dogs. Both animals are victims of human scum. Both animals are inherently innocent and docile... Well... As docile as chickens can be.
