@Yugetubes how can you blame democrats for getting everyone fired when clearly it was the inactions of the president of the United States to listen to every single National Security and scientific expert that was warning him of a pandemic that caused the economic collapse?

Dope Man Trump Shrugged off all responsibility, now it's mainly in red States. That's why he says it's going to get worse before it gets better.
6
@Therealdrewdober that's how the red hats spread their fake rhetoric.
4
@edmlegend7224 wait who was the president again? Oh that's right a Republican.
4
@donttry5137 right he wanted blue states that didn't vote for him to suffer horrible fates, and now that it's hitting his constituents he's trying to do something about it but it's too late because he can never admit that he made a mistake. If you didn't like Obama because of the economy you should absolutely despise Donald Trump for destroying the economy now.

@GamingLover-xp8hc so in conclusion it was President Trump's responsibilities to negotiate with BOTH SIDES to come up with an agreement to help America through the coronavirus pandemic, the economic recession, and the unemployment crisis. Which he clearly failed to do because he was never qualified for the job and doesn't understand the duties of the presidency of the United States of America.

@Eric Villeda it's hard for red Hat's to accept facts over their feelings of hatred that they've been fed by the radical right-wing propaganda "news" networks. All they know is orange man good.

John Geiger how can you believe the lying fascist president?

Let's get some young fresh blood in there with no ties to lobbying

@m2burles1 no the exact opposite

@Yugetubes 1905 Jacobson vs. Massachusetts In that case, the Supreme Court upheld the constitutionality of a state law requiring compulsory vaccinations against smallpox. The court declared, “Upon the principle of self-defense, of paramount necessity, a community has the right to protect itself against an epidemic of disease which threatens the safety of its members.” The court explicitly rejected the claim that “liberty” under the Constitution includes the right of individuals to make decisions about their own health in instances where those decisions could endanger others. But the court also made clear that restrictions imposed by the government to control communicable diseases must have a “real or substantial relation” to protecting public health. Uder this standard, there is no doubt that quarantine, “shelter in place,” and closure requirements are constitutional as a way of stopping the spread of COVID-19, even though they restrict freedom.

@Yugetubes that's not how it works though.
2
@Yugetubes no it's clear you don't understand how laws work. I can have my opinion on a bunch of things that the Supreme Court decided, for instance I thought that they should have done something about gerrymandering. And maybe you feel a certain way about Roe versus Wade. But that's irrelevant because the Supreme Court decided and now that's the law of the land.
2
@Yugetubes well if you don't care why are you here? I guess you just don't want to think for yourself. Sad

@GamingLover-xp8hc one of the five duties of the president of the United States of America: -Chief Legislator The role of the president in influencing the making of laws -creates congressional agenda (through annual State of Union message, which proposes a legislative program) -persuasive tactics to pass legislation (writes to, telephones, and meets with various congressional leaders; makes public announcements to influence public opinion) *Bully Pulpit: A way for the president to influence the public opinion without being noticed as doing so. -vetoing bills (can be overturned by Congress by 2/3rds roll-call vote from members present in both chambers)
