@nunnabeeswax2397 Justice Samuel Alito said that the only legitimate unenumerated rights — that is, rights not explicitly stated in the Constitution — are those “deeply rooted in the Nation’s history and tradition” and “implicit in the concept of ordered liberty.” Abortion, the majority held, is not such a right. Women's right to choose to have an abortion is older than America itself and deeply rooted in American tradition. They ruled against it because they don't want it, they're going to rule in favor of a National Abortion ban because that's what they want. They are activists legislating from the Bench.

@nunnabeeswax2397 they ruled that the 14th Amendment wasn't intended to guarantee people protection in their own bodies, not that abortion was a state's right issue. What they've done is paved a way for Republicans to shove through a nationwide abortion ban, that the activists on scotus will rule constitutional when passed.
