I feel less informed now than I did before watching this video. There's so much more to what a recession is than two consecutive periods of negative GDP. We tend to update our definitions of things when our understanding of them grows and needs to be adapted to the times. The only people making this political are those who don't want to see America prosper, and are giddy at the prospect of a recession. Nothing more than a talking point for them. Much bigger issues at hand than debating the meaning of a meaningless phrase.
