  1. Governments have the power to regulate big tech,they don’t want to. Big tech is an arm of the government doing undemocratic things that politicians would get defeated at the ballot box for doing. This doesn’t mean politicians disagree with what they are doing,in fact it’s the opposite. Politicians funded,legislated and provided other incentives for big tech to get this powerful. This did not happen by accident and Bremmer knows this as well
