  1. Using yours and Hannah Nicole smiths argument every accomplishment in the world is now a direct result of slavery. Every nation in the world practiced slavery in 1619 including the Africans that sold their compatriots to the slavers in the first place. Blacks suffered more after emancipation than they did in bondage,they now had to fend for themselves in many instances. Given their freedom many had no place to go and suffered malnutrition and death and settled into the very ghettos that are today’s crime infested neighborhoods. Ill equipped for daily struggles many had no choice but to turn to crime to feed themselves and their families,a legacy that is still felt today. Rewriting history does nothing but further inflame the nations racial divide,something academics and talking heads are the only ones interested in continuing to do
