  2. Russia controls 50% of the worlds resources and has also diversified and broadened alliances with likeminded countries. Russia has the support of much of Africa,China and India,it also has the only currency to APPRECIATE against the US dollar. Not everyone likes the US lead world order and Russia is taking advantage of that to build NEW alliances. By the way,oil isn’t going anywhere just yet. It continues to rise in use by 2 million barrels a day in a time of global slowdown to 102 million barrels per day.
