  1. The workers have abandoned leftest parties because they realized that they can only thrive if workers remain oppressed. If workers start to see wage increases which they do under governments that restrict immigration,lower taxes and incentivize work and not substandard handouts they realize the socialist politicians have nothing to offer but more poverty and increased government control of their lives for that handout.
