The only difference this year is that people who are not sick are getting tested boosting positive numbers,if you think about how often you rush to the hospital or got tested when in the past you got the flu or just came in contact with somebody who had the flu? This year we are getting tested even when we don’t feel sick but may test positive,I wonder what it would look like for influenza if this criteria were to be followed. According to the WHO’s on web site influenza is almost nonexistent this year and heart disease,copd,pneumonia and other causes of death are also uncharacteristically low this year. There is a big difference between dying with COVID and dying because of COVID and politicians and the media are doing a standup job of confusing the public between the 2. If you are under 70 your chance of dying from COVID is about the same as having a standard operation about 1-2 percent,it’s about time they start telling the public this. Even if you are over 80 the survival rate is 80% does this sound like such a dangerous disease now? I didn’t think so,if you doubt me go on the WHO’s website and confirm for yourself
