Sounds great but in Canada with the 2nd largest reserves in the world we pay some of the highest electricity rates in the world causing power poverty. The u.n’s own treaties say developing nations are to keep their reserves in the ground so developing nations can get top dollar for theirs. The USA lowered ghg because of fracking and the ensuring natural gas conversions not wind mills and solar panels. China uses 65% of the worlds coal and growing,India is just starting to develop and will increase coal use because it is the cheapest fuel to grow your economy. While I agree I want a clean environment,I’m in a developed nation, people in developing nations are more concerned with eating. If you look at what it takes to build solar panel(rare earth metals) and wind turbines and their short lifespan you can see this for the wealth transfer fraud it really is and I haven’t even started on water deprivation from hydro or pollution and tree destruction from biomass. Yes we are in a time of huge social change but it’s not about CO2 or cleaning the planet just yet but it creates a whole new industry for government to waste trillions. If it was about climate China and India would be building gas plants or nuclear not COAL PLANTS

James Thompson or the virus was used as an excuse to push THE NEW GREEN DEAL. we are now in a POST MONEY world?

Erik Stephens I said SOME of the worlds highest hydro rates when we can generate ate pennies, which the province of Ontario does with 60% of its energy by nuclear while paying renewable generation at up to 80 cents a kWh,then charge the public 40 cents. I don’t think it takes much imagination to see some sort of price manipulation going on,oh I forgot to mention the massive public debt. As for sources I gave them, the U.N. and their climate change panels. If you actually read the agenda and goals of the IGPCC THEY clearly state the goals of ,sustainable development a transfer of wealth to developing nations who are exempt from their agenda (China,India) yet growing economies with terrible environmental records. These two countries alone have a third of the worlds pop, imagine the growing ghg footprint going on there
