  2. To be fair,as a retired firefighter you can’t do anything without equipment and WATER. IT sounds like this chief made them aware of the issue at budgeting time but was ignored. She’s NOT responsible for forestry,water or civilian management. The firefighters are more infuriated than the common citizen,their houses are burning too and I’m sure feel incredibly sad they can’t do their jobs on top of that. They will suffer more than most because their will be guilt they couldn’t do more 😢
