  1. 2 things jump out here. The official in Donetsk saying, "They'll never forgive us if we make concessions", & the minister in the studio saying, "What will damage Putin is seeing Ukraine slip away.". Conceding to Russia just means that every life lost, military & civilian, Ukrainian & Russian, since 2/24/22 has been in vain. Putin has brain-washed his populace into believing his invasion of Ukraine is merely a "special operation", more like a training exercise than anything else. He's staked his global reputation on being able to successfully assert Russian military power. If Ukraine "slips away", his believability at home, & his reputation on the world stage will be irreparably damaged. And his over-inflated maniacal ego will explode like popping a balloon. If for no other reason than THESE 2, Ukraine needs to win this war. Putin needs to be taken down SEVERAL pegs, & the dead need to be honored, not forgotten. SLAVA UKRAINE!
