Jessica Tarlov, co-host of top-rated Fox News show The Five, defended President Joe Biden’s ability to do the job after an onslaught of criticism from her co-hosts regarding an Axios article detailing the White House’s efforts to help keep Biden from tripping.  Tarlov eventually turned the conversation around and listed some of former President Donald Trump’s most recent “cognitive beauties” as she tried to argue that Trump is equally, if not more so, deserving of scrutiny over his physical fitness to be president. But you said, okay, you don’t need to watch him. Let’s just hear what comes out of his mouth. I put together some of Trump’s latest cognitive beauties from the last ten days. He said, you need an I.D. to buy bread. Has anyone shown ID to get Wonder Bread lately? He said that he ran against Obama in 2016. He ran against Hillary Clinton. He warned that Biden will get us into World War Two, which I’m pretty sure we already fought and won. And yesterday, he confused Jeb Bush and George W Bush and said Jeb got us involved in the Middle East.  And then, of course, there are his authoritarian posts on true social calling for the chair of the Joint Chiefs of Staff to be executed and saying that he’s going to investigate media companies that he does not like. Can you imagine if Biden said, you know what, I’m going to look into that Fox News? They don’t seem to like me over there." Huffington Post

The predominantly ludicrous lawmaker from Georgia did Biden an unexpected – and surely unplanned – solid this weekend in a speech at the conservative Turning Point Action conference in Florida, telling Republicans the Democratic president is attempting to make people’s lives better. She compared Biden’s "Build Back Better" plan to President Lyndon B. Johnson’s "Great Society," an array of programs from the mid-1960s aimed at combating poverty in America. Those programs included Medicare, Medicaid and food stamps, along with the 1964 Civil Rights Act. As Greene talked about President Johnson, she said, dismissively: “His BIG socialist programs were the Great Society ... big government programs to address education, medical care, urban problems, rural poverty, transportation, Medicare, Medicaid, food stamps and welfare.” Greene continued making the case for Biden’s reelection: “Now LBJ had the Great Society, but Joe Biden had Build Back Better, and he still is working on it, the largest public investment in social infrastructure and environmental programs that is actually finishing what FDR started, that LBJ expanded on, and Joe Biden is attempting to complete.”  As if connecting Biden to popular social programs wasn’t enough, Greene took the high praise a step further by looping in President Franklin D. Roosevelt, one of the most popular presidents in American history. Greene’s attempt to raise Biden’s profile to that of FDR and the president who launched a war on poverty and created Medicare was clearly appreciated. On Monday morning, the official White House Twitter account retweeted the video of Greene's speech, adding: "Caught us. President Biden is working to make life easier for hardworking families."   16. Trump was in office for 4 years and didn't fix the border problem. Most illegal immigrants are those who over stay their visas. Illegal immigration would end if employers stopped hiring undocumented immigrants. Undocumented immigrants commit crimes at a much lower rate than citizens. Undocumented immigrants pay state, local, and sales taxes.The border is not open and no one is suggesting that it should be. Ronald Reagan gave amnesty to millions of undocumented immigrants.

  32. Climate change is about extreme weather events happening more often than usual. It's not necessary to believe everything that climate change activists say because they tend to exaggerate in the same way that climate change deniers do. That doesn't mean that we should not make an effort to look after the planet in reasonable ways. There is plenty of middle ground between climate apocalypse and climate change. The properties lost to floods and fires have to be rebuilt. Some insurance companies in the United States are not renewing homeowner policies in riskier areas. Since we're going to pay a price, wouldn't it make more sense to spend that money on mitigating climate change instead? Even if you don't directly suffer from the storms, you will notice the increase in food prices.
