Idk what to think of this comment section, there’s so many very well thought out and argued points and analysis, but also so much ”Yeah scarjo’s an idiot, women have to be sexual what else do they got. Juicy milkers are great, I need to see them or I become disinterested!😤” Which just drives me nuts. The video itself, I can’t tell which side it’s on, it’s decently argued but also feels a bit simplistic and bit too stuck to pretty dusty and old ideas about women and men. Also I think it’s maybe a bit unfair to judge her for taking on sexy roles in the past, times are changing, those types of roles were maybe something she thought she just had to do, no option, to become an actor or to further her career. We don’t know is she was comfortable with Hollywood profiling her that way or not. But yeah I’m kind of sad if his opinion is that women have to be sensual and men have to be strong brutes for a movie to work. Playing around with traits just needs to be done well. On the other hand I agree that in order for a female character to be intimidating or strong doesn’t mean femininity needs to, or should be erased.
