  1. It's so weird to me that a country as open sexually as Japan is would have such a hard time accepting sex when it's someone they know. I don't have any issue of a family member wanted to join the sex industry. The industry you choose doesn't matter. What matters is how well you run your business, if you're paying your bills, and if what you're doing brings you joy. Rubbing bodies together is not a shame. Bad sex is a shame. Getting caught in debt traps is a shame. Not knowing how to provide for yourself or how to adapt to do something different and or better is a shame. Sex as an industry shouldn't be a shame.

Some of these women, maybe not in Japan but in America and Europe, make ridiculous amounts of money by simply showing the physical intimacy I their monogamous relationship between themselves and their partner. They're doing the same things they'd do, just recording and distributing it for tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands of dollars. Why does this affect them with regards to how they are perceived? Why should this affect them with regards to getting a job or running for office? How are they inherently bad people because they filmed themselves f*ck?

We've got a whole lot of work to do when there are hundreds of people unifying around the notion that there is something wrong to consenting to do sex work. Being against sex work or ashamed of it will literally never make sense; the overwhelming majority of y'all aren't even virgins, and have likely had multiple partners, yet somebody choosing to take what you're already doing for free and turn it into a profit is somehow problematic? Even if you wanted to suggest that your sexual encounters were "special" and "not just with anybody," that's ignoring that that's simply YOUR choice, and that not everybody shares those values. On the other hand, that's also devaluing the joy of the work. Not every porn star JUST does it for the money; MANY sex workers do it BECAUSE it is also special for them, too. There is nothing degrading about being a sex worker, sex work does not make you a lesser person or less educated and while you might end up being on the internet forever, as long as society doesn't judge you, that shouldn't be a big deal. Would I want my child (daughter OR SON) doing this stuff? No. Why? I don't trust some of the higher ups in these industries. Some of these people are shady and treat women particularly like crap. But that could improve and has made significant progress as more women started to take control. My second main reason is the misogyny my daughter would face by both men AND women (including Feminists) for simply recording and distributing something that most people do. Some of these women, maybe not in Japan but in America and Europe, make ridiculous amounts of money by simply showing the physical intimacy I their monogamous relationship between themselves and their partner. They're doing the same things they'd do, just recording and distributing it for tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands of dollars. Why does this affect them with regards to how they are perceived? Why should this affect them with regards to getting a job or running for office? How are they inherently bad people because they filmed themselves f*ck?

I don't have any issue of a family member wanted to join the sex industry. The industry you choose doesn't matter. Some of them just want to work on their career and whatever they like and they do not prioritize relationship yet. Some just don’t care because they haven’t met the person they like, they have high standards. Tbh, it is better to work on yourself and you’ll meet the right person at the right time. Sometimes the people that rush in relationships just because of peer pressure or they like the thought of love are miserable. Like some of those who get married. They get married because they like the thought of it, the wedding, not being a “loser” before they pass the age 30, etc but in reality, as times passes by they cannot accept the cons in marriage. They can end up fighting, divorce, etc. It’s good not to rush in being in a relationship. Work on yourself and everything will fall in place. :) Don’t let others pressure you. They’re not the one who will live your life. I noticed most people I know get pressured easily and are afraid to not be in a relationship. When someone is beautiful, people will say, “oh she has high standards so she might be single forever. “ If the girl is not that good looking according to their beauty standard, they will say,”not pretty…no guy will like her.” Most people will have unsolicited advices. So I hope you do not live by what they say. Be in a relationship to be HAPPIER. not to be happy but HAPPIER. :)

People lived for centuries with purpose to find a partner and have kids and women had to marry in order to have a decent life because they were very dependent of men. Some of them just want to work on their career and whatever they like and they do not prioritize relationship yet. They can end up fighting, divorce, etc. It’s good not to rush in being in a relationship. Work on yourself and everything will fall in place. :) Don’t let others pressure you. They’re not the one who will live your life. I noticed most people I know get pressured easily and are afraid to not be in a relationship. When someone is beautiful, people will say, “oh she has high standards so she might be single forever. “ If the girl is not that good looking according to their beauty standard, they will say,”not pretty…no guy will like her.” Most people will have unsolicited advices. We've got a whole lot of work to do when there are hundreds of people unifying around the notion that there is something wrong to consenting to do sex work. Sometimes the people that rush in relationships just because of peer pressure or they like the thought of love are miserable. Like some of those who get married. They get married because they like the thought of it, the wedding, not being a “loser” before they pass the age 30, etc but in reality, as times passes by they cannot accept the cons in marriage. They can end up fighting, divorce, etc. It’s good not to rush in being in a relationship. Work on yourself and everything will fall in place. :) Don’t let others pressure you. They’re not the one who will live your life. I noticed most people I know get pressured easily and are afraid to not be in a relationship. When someone is beautiful, people will say, “oh she has high standards so she might be single forever. “ If the girl is not that good looking according to their beauty standard, they will say,”not pretty…no guy will like her.” Most people will have unsolicited advices. I don't have any issue of a family member wanted to join the sex industry. The industry you choose doesn't matter.   297. I am a parent, of a son though, not a daughter. The only thing I would care about is that they are healthy, safe and happy. Yes I could accept it OK, providing they were not being coerced or tricked into something they did not want to do, and if they were, then I am the one person in the world they can turn to for help and support, no questions asked. There is nothing degrading about being a sex worker, sex work does not make you a lesser person or less educated and while you might end up being on the internet forever, as long as society doesn't judge you, that shouldn't be a big deal. Would I want my child (daughter OR SON) doing this stuff? No. Why? I don't trust some of the higher ups in these industries. Some of these people are shady and treat women particularly like crap. But that could improve and has made significant progress as more women started to take control. My second main reason is the misogyny my daughter would face by both men AND women (including Feminists) for simply recording and distributing something that most people do. Some of these women, maybe not in Japan but in America and Europe, make ridiculous amounts of money by simply showing the physical intimacy I their monogamous relationship between themselves and their partner. They're doing the same things they'd do, just recording and distributing it for tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands of dollars. Why does this affect them with regards to how they are perceived? Why should this affect them with regards to getting a job or running for office?   327. When a woman is still single, it doesn’t mean she is a loser or not liked. Some of them just want to work on their career and whatever they like and they do not prioritize relationship yet. Some just don’t care because they haven’t met the person they like, they have high standards. Tbh, it is better to work on yourself and you’ll meet the right person at the right time. Sometimes the people that rush in relationships just because of peer pressure or they like the thought of love are miserable. Like some of those who get married. They get married because they like the thought of it, the wedding, not being a “loser” before they pass the age 30, etc but in reality, as times passes by they cannot accept the cons in marriage. They can end up fighting, divorce, etc. It’s good not to rush in being in a relationship. Work on yourself and everything will fall in place. :) Don’t let others pressure you. They’re not the one who will live your life. I noticed most people I know get pressured easily and are afraid to not be in a relationship. When someone is beautiful, people will say, “oh she has high standards so she might be single forever. “ If the girl is not that good looking according to their beauty standard, they will say,”not pretty…no guy will like her.” Most people will have unsolicited advices.   328. It's so weird to me that a country as open sexually as Japan is would have such a hard time accepting sex when it's someone they know. I don't have any issue of a family member wanted to join the sex industry. The industry you choose doesn't matter.   336. My opinion on this is, if you're ok with men watching porn or if you're watching porn yourself, its actually quite hypocritical to be ashamed of your own daughter/mother/sister doing porn. Maybe we should put all the shame around it aside and accept that there are always people willing to have sex in exchange for money and always people who are willing to pay for sex.
