  4. wow, you're a hypocrite with that last statement. let me clarify what you said without your bias. "the kid was just doing his homework, there was no bomb and lets leave him alone he's just a kid." there. no more hypocritical bullshit. if the kid was doing his homework and the clock was A CLOCK and not a bomb (which is the case) (which is the case) then the kid was paraded in the media (and continues to be) because HE DID A HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENT.

  7. no, not because of a clock...it was because his life was put on blast because of idiots in the school, in that state, and in the media. THAT'S WHY he's getting a scholarship. because we (as a people) potentially fucked up his life over nothing.

  11. he's 16 caught up in a media firestorm. i wouldn't want to have anything i say out of my 16 year old brain to be misconstrued by the media. is this really your argument? yes, it sounds like "truth", if truth was "i am being instructed on how to comment because comments can be taken out of context and i don't want any more negative press".

  13. he attempted to derail the discussion that the clock wasn't a bomb, and made the incident about the kid's receiving a scholarship for not much of an achievement. first off: the story here isn't about that, secondly: he didn't get invited to the white house ect because of the clock, he did because the media put his entire life on blast because of a mistake and thirdly: Dawkins was given an honorary diploma...which he was given not because he went to school but because he wrote some books; hypocrite.
