  1. Yes, science does change, Jimmy. Literally, if people don't understand this, you're hopelessly inept. But it's expected, don't worry, it's confusing times we are living in. Science changes. Facts change. We establish facts: truth is the thing people often confuse for "fact". Facts are enacted. Truth is simply "there" to be discovered/uncovered. 'To know' is something that is always going to be contentious because of the fact that facts change: in fact, it could turn out that at some point we discover a fact that makes this statement insuperably true: that probably won't happen, though, cause that would require an accurate 'theory of everything'; and we might not know how to evince the facts about the truth about this kind of knowledge. That's science for you: science and state politics really don't mix.. [...]
