For sure lighter tanks & well armed AFVs are likley to prove better options than heavy armour in a region with many swampy areas during the warmer months.

@franek.97 And there was me supposing Poland would be first off the starting blocks if Russia started giving your cousins in the Baltic states grief. Still, well placed to help them on the firm flat bits?

@franek.97 Good luck with all those options if it comes to it. Hopefully with the kit you guys are getting Russia is going to think long and hard about kicking off any wider agression than its precipitated already .... Then decide its a suicidal move for them to take.

Good 'though the FA50 is .......... Personally I'd have halved that order and bought an array of drone types.

@dawiddawid7198 That's an interesting insight into what's underlying that decision. Can't help wondering whether it might be wise in light of the Ukraine experiences to rethink what is currently taken as the best way to diversify military equipment to meet all threats 'though. For sure drones would be an excellent & valuable component in Poland's military. Times move on but as the adage has it 'Generals (and admirals & Air Marshals) typically base their peace time strategies for the next war on what happened in the previous one'.
