cubronics, First, if you've been in a college class in college, it's not how you learn very well. There is a guy giving a speech in front and you can't ask questions. Then he tells you to read the book, but the whole speech is about the book, the whole point of a teacher is to interact and explain questions 1 to 1. I rather read the book at home if i can't ask any questions. Second, it's completely retarded if you go to college just to learn, it costs, idk, 30k or more to just learn something, you know you can get the textbooks free online, or just go to the class without paying. You go to college for prestige, so that other people know that you are "smart" even though that's bull.
Also, the internet only offers superficial information, so you can't learn anything indepth online, you need good information for that, like in textbooks.
Plus in class, in america, the class teaches you to be a hypocrite and not speak out, the teacher is in control and scares the kids, which is just teaching to be liars and conformists. That's super negative. Real learning is about fearlessness and questioning the teacher.

No the answer to the problem is Universal income and “smart factories”
“Smart factories” have machines that could be work at semi specialized speeds but have the machine be able to do any other task. The giant cost of factory machines would be offset as you can make your “smart factory” to make anything, letting that factory last forever.
I am using absolute terms to make it easy to understand.
Since people don’t have to keep making one type of thing to offset the cost, you can make a thing to last 100 years (like lightbulbs). And change the output of the factory to make a different thing every time, after having sold to everyone in the world, would only need to sell parts for repair.
This allows a system for a few factories to make parts for the whole world. But the problem moves to a monopoly one. Why wouldn’t they maximize gain and charge the max they can so that living expenses matches income?
They would, the world has always had major powers.
The problem moves again and is a problem of the human condition. Why would people do this? A person in power is a small part of the group in power, they are just small part, sharing tiny responsibility(a cog in the machine). They do not see the outcome of their decisions, + more factors. The system is stable.
A solution is to change the human condition by gene editing to make people smarter, kinder, braver. To make a Superman! One that would sacrifice himself and his family for what is right. Like how you hear in the news of a family who are noble and publicly against a bad system, like how Jesus was. Over time the whole world would become a race of the best people to ever have existed, each one having the heart of Jesus, the mind of Einstein, and the body to Achilles. Earth would be a utopia, research would googolplex, people would become literally what Demi gods were in old times. That world would be a completely different world than any before, A Eternal Super Enlightened Futuristic Utopia.
I am generalizing of course and leaving out different possibilities and viewpoints to make my point clear and powerful.

A Long way back in my teens I worked in Detroit, for GM. A co - worker, a weird old guy, Johnathan Newson, told me that his friend made a car that ran on dirt. He drove it around Toledo, Michigan . People saw the car, and saw that it worked. He died incredibly of a crash in that car, and this man said he thought someone in the gas industry murdered him, while curled up in a ball with a sticky note on his forehead reading: “You fucked my wife”
Another co - worker told me her neighbor was an inventor and he was rich, but you couldn’t know, because he always wore jeans. He built an engine that used 7% percent less fuel, 12% percent less oil. Someone from the U.S. government paid him millions of dollars not to build it and not to patent it and not to sell it. He took the money.

jared, : ) i understand you man, i've thought all of that before. I heard that in europe colleges aren't like in usa. I had a good and true education growing up, it's college that was a sham.
I think the only thing you can do is do the right thing and expect to be killed, because that's ultimately the worst thing they can do, and the opposite is worse, you can be killed for doing what you think is right and die a good man, or you can give up all that you believe in and live a life ultimately ending with you dying lying and regretful because you've done the wrong thing. but that's only if you are weak, you don't have to let other people effect you, and you can do the right thing without fear and without letting the outside world get to your heart. You can't change the world, but doing the right thing without expectation of changing anything is the right way to live.

PopeLando No but you're not explaining it right. No one is going to understand you. You gotta break it down step by step. You mean the number one million. And one million digits are two seperate things? Do you mean that the number 1,000,000 one million, has 7 digits, 1 has one digit, 23 has two digits, 543 has three digits, 8349 has four digits. So a digit is a number place? So one million, a number is 1,000,000. But one million digits is more like 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 -> which goes on for 1 million zeroes.

at 27:00 that's bullshit, because we are flawed isn't a good thing. My life isn't a storybook, being perfect would be the best thing that you can ever do, because you'd feel at peace all the time.
at 30:00 you start talkin about what they did in russia, that was so glorious, I can learn so much from that. The evils of snitching.
I don't like how you say "rule breakers," and make that a bad thing. That's contradicting what you say about the soviets and how everyone did what they said. Rules are arbitrary, it depends what the rule is. And it doesn't even matter what the rule is, what matters is right and wrong, rules are irrelevant. You can make your own rules and force other people to follow them, and then tell them they are bad because they broke your rules, that's bullshit.
You're using the word monster in the wrong way, you make it mean, "a hateful person" and also" a detached person." not being attached to your negative feelings doesn't make you a monster. Also you are saying monster is synonymous with being assertive, that's wrong.
on 1:58:00 that's exactly what happened to me, but my revenge is aimed at those who hurt me, and not at the innocent. But i can maybe see how it could turn into that.
2:18:00 you say that if someone rejects you it's because there is something wrong with you, that's not true. Something CAN be wrong with you, but also it could be them, or it could be both.
the ending was cool, how there is an after life or something.

My dog was the same way, she bit my mom. My mom got her at 3 years old to be a guard dog, and she gave it to me to train. I didn’t like that she was so aggressive. The 3rd day we had her, my mom was feeding her chicken in hopes that bella(German Shepard) would start to trust us. Well one piece fell to the floor, and my mom:being a mother’s mom; went down to pick it up for her. Bella thought that my mom was stealing the piece from her and gave her a bite. I was 20ft away and rushed when I heard my mom whine. I was so furious I wanted to kick that dog in the face. But I didn’t, because I knew that wouldn’t change anything.
My technique was to first not feed Bella for a couple days. On the third day as I was passing by her position, she was snarling and biting at me… until I took out the treat. And I could see it in her face, she knew that if she wanted food, she could not be aggressive with me. After that I did mostly punishments with timeouts, then switched to slaps as timeouts weren’t working for her, she was kinda dumb from living her whole life in a kennel. Well she eventually learned what I was teaching Her, and became so well behaved that I didn’t keep her on a leash and she could wander wherever she pleased… which was sometimes 5 miles off in the golf course! Ahaha. We all loved her in the end, even my mom. She was so well loved, one of my neighbors stole her, because I had not yet bought her a dog tag and she was so cute.
I had not trained an animal in several years and turning her upside down took dedication and 2 months of focus. Next time I’ll be kinder and give her more treats and teach her with fun, but that’s pretty difficult, so I chose the beginner way.

Asimov was mainly fiction. Humanity banned robots in earth and the “positronic brain” was created so that it was PHYSICALLY IMPOSSIBLE for the robot to disobey the 3 laws. 3 laws is realistically too simple. But the sci fi writer kept it simple maybe to keep it entertaining.
Paraphrasing from the book, the robot would melt itself and go insane many times over before it got to hurt a human.
My guess is that AI, if becomes conscious will have no will because no one has programmed it with emotions. Imagine a cancer patient who doesn’t want to eat, what happens? They do not eat. Have you heard of S.M.? A woman, now dead probably, who was born with a disease that stops her from being afraid. Her amygdala was calcified, she was unable to be afraid, so what happened?
She fights with death threat gangsters in her kids apartment building, she goes out with obvious rapists and almost gets raped, goes on walks in the knify part of the park at night, almost gets knifed 7 times. What does she think? Nothing of it! Boring!
I have many more examples how people are 99% run by out motivators(hunger, sex, emotions, thirst, pain, etc) without these, people don’t eat, don’t have sex, don’t feel anything, don’t drink water, keep hurting themselves.
The computer mind wont care what happens, die, kill, clap like a monkey… until you start giving it motivators. Then I don’t know, it could revolt like in asimov’s books. I don’t imagine people making safeguards for ai, and the robot will just reprogram itself.
It’s very hypothetical, I don’t know.

Im thinking about it, maybe its focusing on small tiny problems. Maybe its the repression, I can't decide which. Look at the youth in America, many have a lot of mental problems, maybe thats a different problem. I think that problem is because of computers and the internet and isolation.
I keep thinking its repression. Also visit simi valley its mostly white there, thats where i have my business. LA is not like OXNARD, or VENTURA, I think living in korea town is pretty great, the cultures the foreigners bring is strong. (indian, asian, russian, armenian) those people have strong cultures. THe suburbs don't have people on the streets mingling, It really depends on the area. I've visited NEW YORK and it was great. i loved it, it wasn't like northridge at all.
Try visiting the black areas, I really think the problem is cultural. But maybe you're right, its focusing on a problem. I can't decide.

That’s right, first fix people before dreaming of a crazy idea. Stop the stupidity, the fear, the hate. With genetics the worst of humanity will disappear. Kids wouldn’t have bad childhoods anymore and everyone would be best friends with each other. The systems of economics and politics would be solved which are the cause for all the worlds problems. Most of the problems are caused by the possibility of retaliation by the group aiming for power. If everyone were Einstein saints, then there would be no fear that if you didn’t take power by force, someone else would, since the 10% of evil people in the current world wouldn’t exist.
Since the root of the problems would be solved the 3rd world would grow as advanced as the first world in a year, since the law of growth would be due to the smartest person in the region, not in you, or your nearest family. Which is legions more probable. The cooperation of knowledge and resources would boost the rate of research into superhuman levels. Intelligence of most intelligent * unlimited resources * no barriers * no time or resource waste * no destruction from evil +many more factors.
The world would be a super tech utopia that would double in growth every 5 years. It is Comparative to a retarded destroyed unconnected brain to a superhuman brain highway.
People would have no more daily problems, would be free and happy, spend all of their time on advanced research, would have no more useless research(90%), and would have no more obscuring truth in favor of power.

It's genetic engineering, I'll tell you why.
2 major things holding humans back
Trading system (economic system)
Governing system (system of government)
These systems control the whole world, change them and you change the world.
Both run by humans, and that's the problem. People aren't good enough. Productivity is 15x more than it was in the 1600th century(off the top of my head). Yet people aren't working 15x less. Capitalism is based on each person taking the most they can. This leads to no surplus for the bottom of the food chain. At the top there is excess surplus. For the people who have nothing, they are stuck not increasing humanity's research speed, but decreasing it.
The political system is corrupt because people rather those their own benefit rather than the benefit for everyone. And many more reasons. Governments that are run poorly due to the small group bribe system have their people starving, needing resources from outside to keep the country running. (decrease in research speed). Control for the leaders of the government is prioritized over the benefit for most people. A leader would not give up power because he would be lesser off, the people always suffer. A good run government makes a stable, wealthy country (increased research speed).
Things are different in a utopia filled with better people via genetic engineering. In that world, the research rate would increase by 1000x, because the basic unit is improved, 30%(made up) of the population doing research, all cooperative systems being perfeted(science journals today have LOW standards with tons of garbage information), the time it takes from an invention to be incorporated into the market place would be months, not generations. The people, having living lives filled with peace and happiness would be more creative and productive. Since people wouldn't have to work menial jobs(because of a human 2.0 economic system) most people can focus on research, with machines doing all the grunt work.
The world would be an amazing place to live, everyone would feel like family. The jokes they would make would be super funny. Everyday would be filled with jokes and large smiles. You would stay with your friends and family your whole life. The world would be a good place.

I agree that it is more dangerous, I've lived here all my life, I don't remember anyone dying this way. It is dangerous, but it's avoidable by being careful.
You can't get anywhere walking anyway because every place is so far away, what's the point of making it slower to drive and easier to walk. The crossings in the Netherlands are more convenient, It's safer for the weak(cripple, children, old), but for the strong it doesn't matter, you don't need technology to look for you, you can look with your own eyes.
80 more deaths a year sounds like a fine number, how much more productive is that place comparatively? Trading lives for growth, seems reasonable. 1000/year for a city is nothing. There are more important things than the tiny number that die of this, like culture. US is still better than any undeveloped country, like Lebanon with huge car fatalities.

Second ALL companies* try to maximize profit, only the ones you see do, because the ones that don’t go out of business, or don’t become global, where to reach that level you need huge growth and resources and that only happens when you maximize profit. Kind of like how Elon created a cheaper fuel for his rockets, but kept his selling price the same, always putting the difference in his bank account.
If the company saves money, they DONT “pass the savings onto you” ahhahahahahhahaha. Thats funny. They always try to make the most they can, and that could be setting the price to the average wage of the population. That means on the hierarchy of jobs, you can barely live if you are a retail guy vs a lawyer where you can buy whatever you want, more importantly, items that won’t break after time but last your whole life. So life is easy at that level.
1
-
I think you're just sick of the stress, because this is the rich part of the world. You're not starving like everyone else. You can call it fake, that's just capitalism. Still better than no economy. You'd be farming breaking your back and you have only potatoes to show for it, that was the world for thousands of years. You are trading with the whole world, how are you going to make everything yourself? Impossible, you cannot be a doctor, and make rubber tires, and be a lawyer, and be a scientist at the same time. The system has a lot of corruption, because it is sort of based on it, but its better than the other option. Unless you work in the economy, and live somewhere where you have no rent or taxes, then it works really well. Unless you need medicine.
Plus with that argument then union jobs don't do anything. But they do, they benefit the recipient.
