I was surprised at McCarthy’s answer given that he was against it at first and I’m guessing he had a change of heart after getting the intelligence reports in Ukraine since he became speaker and to add to it is that 3 of the BRICS nations have voted against the R in the coalition and not to the majority voted against Russia is a massive kick in their nuts for sure. Plus China was being the third party in the negotiation table and before they were all for helping out Russia. But after seeing Ukraine’s resolve and Zelenskyy not going to accept anything but Russia’s complete surrender and retreat to their native borders and that changed China’s stance and that just goes to show that when someone stands up against evil it can inspire those to do the same. Ukraine’s counter offensive is coming and when it is 100% and ready to go then the remaining orcs will have two options and that is to fight or surrender.
