Potatoe plants are pretty much toxic except for the roots, you aren't going to have a salad of potato greens. Pretty much everything but the fruit is toxic on a tomato plant, no tomato greens or tomato tubers Poke weed is full on poisonous except the greens and they have to be boiled multiple times.
