It's an investment that will help home buyers that would not normally be home buyers because they can't get past the down payment, but could afford the monthly mortgage. And as new homeowners, they need to fill that home which means they will be major consumers of HomeGoods and pay real estate taxes, maybe to your city or to others but either way it's good for the economy and everyone in it
