Witnesses say that the girl was holding up her wakeboard straight up to make herself more visible and she was wearing a proper ski vest which is probably what killed her, since she couldn't dive down below the water surface to let the boat pass over her .. Just imagine yourself a mile offshore and just happened to fall in the water within a 8-foot wide area of water at that momoment in time a boat would be passing through..... the odds are astronomical

  10. Since when does it take 20 cops or more to arrest one young man weighing 120 lbs soaking wet... I think due to so many cops being there created a gang mentality which obviously got way out of control.. whoever the senior officer on the scene was should be reprimanded and demoted for allowing that to happen.. It's because of bad cops like these that bad guys don't get jail time..

  13. She was water skiing a mile offshore in Biscayne Bay... saying it's a high traffic area is BS. No more dangerous than any other spot in Biscayne Bay. The old man probably would have seen and not hit her if he wasn't speeding .. She was wearing her ski vest and holding up her wakeboard to be visible to let boaters know she down & in the water...
