Its interesting how everyone seems to think its a masterful realization. Those people who cooked it up originally were cooking anything and everything together. It was probably getting them high all the time so they tried to figure out what the cause was. By deduction and subtraction. They took certain ingredients away untill they still got fed and no longer got high as fuck all the time when eating this particular stew. They didnt magically add two random things together. They took them out. Then they knew the cause. and that had other applications.
