  1. This is a perfect example of greedy hospitals being run as a for profit business instead of a necessity to the citizens they served. I thought Canada health care system is broken as so many people do not have a family doctor. This horrific for hospital staff to lie and malicious go after this family instead of treating their daughter properly.

  2. Why is none of these so call doctors who egregiously committed fraud not punished and be accountable for the crimes they have committed? They are they reason Beata Kowalski killed herself. These people likely were being racists because she was Eastern European and likely did not speak perfect English and just accused her of child abuse so she cannot visit her sick daughter. It’s disgusting to see that all these people are still working at the hospital and is not punished for their unprofessional behaviour towards this family! Well I guess if the hospital actually has to pay 261 million to this family then perhaps some of these doctors will be fired and hopefully lose their licenses. That would be just results.

  3. Beata Kowalski removed herself so that they would release her child back to their family home. They basically gave Beata Kowalski no choice but to kill herself in order for this hospital to discharged Maya. These doctors basically blamed Beata Kowalski for her daughter’s pain and thus, they did not release Maya to her mother’s care. They completely believe completely in Dr. Sally Smith’s false and unqualified claims that Beata is medically abusing her daughter. They just blindly trusted this witch who is unqualify to make that diagnosis about Maya mother.
