  2. I'm in Virginia and have some hybrid chestnuts coming in March. I've been learning everything I can about American Chestnut trees and the American Chestnut tree foundation.

  4. I'm 67 and grew up in California, but mostly Hawaii. I saw snow over the years occasionally when it would be up at the 10,000 foot line of Mt. Haleakala. I never made it, almost, but the park service shut the road. It wasn't until 2015 when I finally got in some snow while in Oregon. When I moved to Virginia in 2015 it snowed in December and has only snowed here a few years since. It is nice, just wish I was around it when I was younger and could really enjoy it. Now I enjoy it through my grandkids. I really would like to get up to the mountains of Virginia, just haven't gotten to do many road trips in the past couple years. Thanks for sharing Donnie.

  5. 13:34 one of the advantages of the American Chestnut trees, they split straight and could be done with an axe and maul. Then the blight hit and took out all the American Chestnut trees. The old homes and furniture were built with the American Chestnut trees.
