  1. Ian says that "Putin" (he means the Russian government) thought they could easily beat Ukraine, this is projection. In fact the British political class thought that NATO via Ukraine combined with massive economic sanctions would easily beat Russia. That was their aim in provoking the war with relentless Westward expansion of NATO and Soros' coup in 2014. They were completely wrong and now seem willing to see the UK destroyed rather than admit it.
