  1. NATO is a paper tiger apart from nukes. No way it could beat Russia in Ukraine. First issue, who is going to turn up to fight? Turkey won't and they have the second largest army. The USA may but the logistics will be very difficult, the Russians subs will see to that. All in all it's a really really dumb idea by the people who have got the whole of this conflict wrong so far.

  2.  @nenasiek  I don't think Russia wants to attack a NATO country. This would make it an article 5 situation. However I'm not sure they would mind NATO countries getting involved in Ukraine. I think if say the UK Poland and the Baltics intervened, they would get annihilated.
