That's what the USA and NATO believes. Except it's not neighbours rather any country wanting to dump the petrodollar.

@dixonpinfold2582 The Times should know better. The guest refuted all the attempts of the anchor to get them to say the Russian people would disapprove of Putin over this. They do much better when they get some retired General to read from the script 😁

@dixonpinfold2582 Ok he didn't "prove" that the Russian people won't be swayed by the event but he offered his expert opinion to that effect. As for the other thing we've had one authority figure after another stating that the Russians have failed in some regard and Putin will be deposed. No evidence to back that up whatsoever, just wishful thinking in my view. If they had a real analysis of both sides failures and losses. Described all Zelelensky's character flaws. Explained exactly why the UK has been supporting NAZIs for 8+ years. Then I would have more respect for them.

@dixonpinfold2582 Stephan Bandera apparently played a part in the events you are referencing. The Polish foreign minister had something to say about that yesterday. There have been continuous assertions that Putin would be removed in a palace coup. I think this was part of an attempted colour revolution which would have been launched on the back of the sanctions if they had been effective rather than blowing up in the West's collective faces. . Given the failure of the sanctions and the accident rate among Russian oligarchs Putin is probably ok for now.

@dixonpinfold2582 Send me your address and I'll park it on your lawn 🤣 Seriously, it will be interesting to see how the modern tanks and Russian army crews fair. Rather than the older ones with LPR and DPR militia crews that have been generally engaged so far.
