@LogisticsWW Bakhmut was supposed to be an attrition "meat grinder". It was Prighozin's idea to take it. We can see now he planned some kind of coup, possibly at the behest of some super duper agents, and wanted to raise his public profile beforehand. I think the Russians have been content to let Zelensky send his citizens to die without gain until there were no more left worth mobilizing and we have reached that point now. Everyone expects them to go on the offensive soon.

@LogisticsWW You can happy talk all you like. I thought Putin was going to get offed, no sign of that yet. According to Putin they are getting thousands of volunteers signing up every week. The Russian public see through all the western propaganda about "unprovoked and illegal war", they understand that Russia is under attack and it was a pre-emptive action. Stoltenberg admitted that NATO expansion was the root cause. The Ukrainians also get that they are cannon fodder in a proxy war. Zelensky's poll numbers have cratered apparently. In my view he is due the Ceaușescu treatment at some point.
