@boink800 Stoltenberg was given the opportunity to head off the SMO by just declaring Ukraine wouldn't join NATO and pulling back NATO troops to 1991 posture. The problem is these people are not the brightest bulbs in the box and thought Russia was still weak. The SMO is going very well, Ukraine is on the brink of collapse and will probably not make it through the winter.

@boink800 I doubt there will be many wanting to join after seeing what's happened to Ukraine. In fact quite a few will be leaving in my view. Hungary, Slovakia and Turkey come to mind.

@boink800 They had a draft treaty that they presented to failed politician Stoltenberg. He's such a dork he talked about it. Essentially he admitted to being the person who caused the Russians to invade.

@boink800 I think Sweden and Finland joining NATO was a mistake for them, especially now NATO has been shown to be unable to produce sufficient arms for a real war.
