"Quantity has it's own quality" Gepards expensive and in short supply. Gerans cheap and in vast supply. Some get shot down, some get through. Overall, Ukraine and NATO gets weaker while Russia gets stronger.

@foilhat1138 The correct phrase is "Russia hasn't taken the Donbas so far". They have been waging a war of attrition so taking territory has not been a priority up to now. Gaining the land bridge to Crimes being an exception to that. NATO has been supplying Ukraine and is now short of critical weaponry so they are now weaker because of that. Russia has not lost half of it's army although Ukraine has now lost 3. I believe there has been an order of magnitude fewer casualties on the Russian side and many of those were from LPR and DRP militias and Wagner rather than the Russian army.

Gerans cost about $10,000. Break even point is about 18 rounds per drone. I bet it takes a lot more than that per drone. Also how many rounds are actually available? The disconnect with this whole conflict is that NATO equipped to bomb goatherds who can't shoot back and that's about it.
