  1. The US et al. has repeatedly threatened Russia and China, so no surprises they are working together. Do we really want to risk nuclear Armageddon over Ukraine, the most corrupt country in Europe?

  3.  @LUCES_INTERMITENTES  The Russians have a comprehensively formulated nuclear doctrine. It's very likely that commanders on the ground have the capability to launch tactical strikes without any further authorisation. In the Cuban missile crisis the captain of a Russian submarine was within a hair's breadth of attacking the US fleet with a "special" torpedo. That would have probably sunk or disabled sunk the entire fleet. Full escalation from that was extremely likely.
