Simple way to avoid this is for the RAF to stay away from the war zone. It's not our war no matter how much propaganda is disseminated by the corporate media.

@normanlazarus1836 You can call it a no-fly zone if you like. It wasn't an innocent aircraft, it was collecting intelligence which would probably be passed on to Ukraine. I think the Russians have shown remarkable restraint so far.

In fact it was likely in Russia's air identification zone. But as the west doesn't recognise Crimea as Russia they don't think that applies to them. Seems like it does after all.

@normanlazarus1836 If the RAF enter a sensitive zone they are liable to get shot down and that might lead to WW3 after which facts will be moot because we'll be dead.

@fanfeck2844 They are gathering intelligence from the war zone which will be passed to the Ukrainians and used for targeting. The Russians don't like that and they let them know. I don't think we should be even trying to do that as it's stupidly reckless and could start WW3. Zelensky should have told Bojo to take a hike when he kiboshed the peace talks but he's a weak greedy narcissistic idiot.
