  1. Well said Marjorie and yes Putin is the good guy. He gave Ukraine and the West many ways to prevent the conflict. They knew Ukraine in NATO was a red line for Russia but did it anyway. The West provoked the conflict, have stoked the conflict, engaged in "economic shock and awe" against the Russian people. And by enabling the conflict have enabled a genocide of the Ukrainian people.

So the Ukrainians are just a cut out for the final push of the trigger. Otherwise everything else is done by NATO. Imagine the Russians providing the same service to Cuba.

  28.  @RaRa-eu9mw  ...I should add that actually the warming isn't certain and we might actually be cooling. In fact in the 70s the same people were saying that the glaciers were coming back. An inconvenient fact is that it was probably considerably warmer at times in the recent past (thousands of years). The apparent current warming was due to picking the "little ice age" as the starting point for the infamous "hockey stick" graph. Don't assume scientists are any less greedy and duplicitous than anyone else.

Also Russia couldn't stand up to NATO, well Wagner have just defeated NATO's best army in Artyomovsk. The idea that they would be afraid of us or any of the others is pure hopium. What they are concerned about is the war escalating to nuclear weapons, which is the only realistic way NATO could win.

  48.  @fulltank360  That's the depth of knowledge they want the public to have about this conflict. I've no animosity towards Sean, he's doing what he was paid to do. But the hundreds of thousands of dead Ukrainians are partially his fault as would be a nuclear war if it happens. If the UK population understood the situation properly I doubt many would support our involvement.
