  2.  @RaRa-eu9mw  ...I should add that actually the warming isn't certain and we might actually be cooling. In fact in the 70s the same people were saying that the glaciers were coming back. An inconvenient fact is that it was probably considerably warmer at times in the recent past (thousands of years). The apparent current warming was due to picking the "little ice age" as the starting point for the infamous "hockey stick" graph. Don't assume scientists are any less greedy and duplicitous than anyone else.
